Bon Echo Photos

The Cloyne and District Historical Society (CDHS) has received some rare photos from the family of Bob Blatchford (1932-2015) - long time Skootamatta cottager and historian. Included in the photos is a album Bob purchased at an auction in Chicago of the former Bon Echo Inn dated August 1908. These are likely the oldest known photos of Bon Echo. Bob contributed other photos too which can be seen here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/cdhs/
All photos can be downloaded in original quality and used for whatever means without copyright restrictions. The originals can be viewed at the Cloyne Pioneer Museum , open daily 10am - 4 pm. Our main website is http://www.cloynepioneermuseum.ca
Many other photos are displayed on the CDHS Flickr site of Skootamatta including many from the Ross Oborne collection (Clayton Moore, Mike's Island, early cottages, etc).
