We continue to be hopeful that the non-responders in North Frontenac will respond to the repeated requests to complete the questionnaire. One must conclude that, either they believe that they don’t need your votes or, their views are inconsistent with the interests of the shoreline property owners. Electors, therefore, may not have sufficient supportive voting information for these Candidates in North Frontenac. Similarly repeated requests to participate have been made to those Candidates in Addington Highlands Ward 2 elected by acclamation. As they are 2 votes out of 5 on Council, it is reasonable for us to ask their views. To date they have not responded which, mildly expressed, is "unfortunate" and very dismissive of the shoreline property owners and other constituents.
