Skootamatta Lake Satellite Photos

You can browse global satellite images within hours of them being acquired on NASA's Earthdata website. Use the Timeline on the bottom of the map to choose the date of the images. The default images are for today.
Use the Map itself to pan or zoom in on an area. If you pan to southeastern Ontario and zoom in as much as possible, you can get a pretty good view of Skootamatta Lake and the current ice conditions.
Although this will show when the ice has started to melt, it won't really help you in making advanced predictions of exactly when this will happen. In any case, I don't think you can zoom in quite enough to view the ice between Oborne Point and Bible Island, as viewed from Paul Lindsay's cottage!
