Attention all SDRA Members! We are currently putting together our 2016 newsletter which will be published and distributed to you in time to kick off the beginning of cottage season on the May long weekend. We are looking forward to producing another great newsletter that documents memories at Skootamatta, outlines issues that are important to our members, and provides information on the past, present and future of our lake.

We would like to invite any members who are interested to submit stories, memories, articles for consideration in this year's newsletter. Your submission should be no more than 1/2 page typed and should be submitted electronically to the following email address: skootdra@gmail.com. Attachments can be in Word .doc or .pdf format. Please type "For Newsletter" in the subject line. Submissions should be emailed no later than February 20, 2016. We reserve the right to edit submissions for content and/or length.

Calling all Skoot KIDS! We especially want your ideas for our Skoot Kids' Corner pages. Our theme this year will be: "What's your favourite thing about the Skootamatta Lake Festival?" You can respond to this through writing a story, poem, picture, drawing, or anything else that you can think of - use your creativity and tell us what you like about the Festival! This will help us to attract even more cottagers to enjoy a fun community day with other families on the lake. Please submit by Feb. 20 latest.
