Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Welland General Hospital on Friday, May 23, 2014 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Ina for 53 years, loving father of Dennis (Yvonne), Shelley (Kevin) Ecker, Tim (Kathy), loving grandpa of Andrew (Savanaugh), Shirlene (Kevin), Kevin, Michael, Neil, Katie and great grandpa of Nevik and Nathon, Damien, Kayleigh and Jaelyn. Survived by his siblings Wayne (Pearl), Shirley Labeau, Edmund (Diane), Charlene, Robert (Robin) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Chuck and Mildred Sodtka. Charles was a family man that enjoyed spending time at the cottage and he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Cremation has taken place.
